The film

CA PRO Toolkit, in under two minutes

A month-end's problems, and CA PRO's answers on the real screens of the Chrome extension, the Windows app and this website, with sample data from a fictional firm. Narrated, with captions.

The firm, its clients and every figure on screen are invented. The voice is computer-generated.

In one paragraph

What is CA PRO Toolkit?

CA PRO Toolkit is a free Chrome extension and Windows app for Chartered Accountancy firms in India. It reads an audit working paper, identifies the audit topic, and maps every procedure to the Standards on Auditing, relevant Ind AS and Companies Act 2013 sections. The same signed-in account also reconciles GST, reviews TDS, tracks notices and cases, runs audit engagements, and keeps the firm's tasks, calendar and reminders in one place.

Who it is for
Audit teams, tax and compliance staff, and firm administrators in Indian CA practices, from a single practitioner to a multi-member firm.
What it does
AI audit review with standards mapping, Standard Guidance lookups, GST reconciliation (Purchase Register versus GSTR-2B, ITC claimed versus GSTR-3B, GSTR-1 turnover versus GSTR-3B, and ITC claimed versus the credit the Electronic Credit Ledger received), TDS health checks (deductions, ITNS 281 challans, statements, PAN, imported 26AS), notices and cases, audit engagements, a firm task board and filing dashboard, a compliance calendar with reminders, and daily and weekly work summaries. On this website, a free Bank Statement Converter turns statements into checked Excel files in your browser.
What it costs
Nothing. The extension is free to install and use from the Chrome Web Store, and the Windows app is a free download. You sign in with Google.
What it deliberately does not do
It never files or submits anything to a government portal, and never issues a professional opinion on its own. It can download your own returns and ledgers from the GST portal, in your own signed-in session, when you ask it to. Dates, amounts and conclusions stay unconfirmed until a person confirms them.

The tools

Every workflow your firm runs, across both products

The Chrome extension and the Windows app share one account and one set of records. Each tool says where it runs.

  • AI audit review

Paste text, upload a PDF or Word file, or review the open page. It finds the audit topic and maps every procedure to the standards that govern it, as a draft for review.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Standard Guidance

Plain-language guidance for any Standard on Auditing or Companies Act section, beside the point it applies to.

    Extension and Windows app

  • GSTR Downloader

A whole year of GSTR-1, 2A, 2B, 3B, 9 and 9C, plus the Credit and Cash Ledgers, from the GST portal in one run, in your own signed-in session. It never files anything.

    Extension

  • GST Reconciliation

Four checks on one period: Purchase Register against GSTR-2B, the credit claimed against the credit your review supports, GSTR-1 turnover against GSTR-3B, and claimed ITC against what the Electronic Credit Ledger received. Exact to the paise; every ambiguous case waits for review.

    Extension and Windows app

  • TDS Review

Deductions, ITNS 281 challans, statements, PAN and 26AS, turned into source-linked health checks, then into a committed action plan.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Notices & Cases

Capture notice text, confirm facts, track deadlines, draft responses and record submissions.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Audit Engagements

Scope, evidence, findings, review and closure, with firm-admin review at each gate and a working-papers register that keeps the trail.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Tasks & Filing

A firm task board with reviewed bulk changes, and a client-by-client filing dashboard.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Calendar & Reminders

Tasks, tax work and reminders across a date range, with alerts on your device and by email.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Tax Work Tracker

Log and track tax work by client and period, and plan the day with the Daily Work Planner.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Web View

Every feature in one full-page hub, with Review History and date filters. Firm-wide search and Ctrl+K navigation are in the Windows app too.

    Extension and Windows app

  • Bank Statement Converter

Bank statements into Excel files checked against the printed balances, and Tally vouchers. It runs in your browser.

    This website, free, no sign-in

Works with what you already use: PDF, Word, Excel and CSV in; Excel and CSV out for the audit file.

Bank statements into Excel and Tally, checked against the balances

Drop a client's statements, from PDF, Excel, older .xls or CSV. Every row is proved against the statement's own running balance, so a missed or misread line is shown to you at the row instead of being hidden.

  • Keeps every column and detail the bank printed, not just date, narration and amount.
  • Many clients and many accounts in one session, sorted into client and account sections, with the months each account covers.
  • Excel, CSV and Tally vouchers. Open the client's ledger list and suggestions use their own Tally ledgers; transfers between their own accounts are offered as one Contra, so they are entered once.
  • A draft bank reconciliation: open the bank ledger from Tally and it is matched with the statement, every unmatched entry listed.
  • An insights pass: month-by-month credits and debits, channels and counterparties, points to check with the section in force on the date, and a lender pack for the loan file.
  • Questions for the client, drafted as a sheet and as a message you copy and send yourself.
  • Already have rows from somewhere else - another converter, an AI chat's answer? Paste the table and the same row-by-row checks run on it before you trust it.
  • Runs inside your browser tab. Statements are never uploaded.

The AI audit engine

Read a working paper. Get the standards that govern it.

A local classifier and a review model work together to understand your working paper and map it to the standards that apply. What comes back is a draft for your review, never a conclusion.

  • Procedures carry their primary and supporting standards
  • Firm-admin review gates engagements, cases and reconciliations
  • Every prepared review stays available in Review History

Trust and privacy

Serious about your clients' data

CA PRO Toolkit is a review and organisation tool. It never files to a government portal on its own.

  • Secure sign-in

Google Sign-In with token-based sessions. Firm roles and permissions are enforced on the server.

  • Local-first documents

File text is read on your device first. Source files are not retained after processing.

  • Consent-gated AI and OCR

Reading a document or image online needs your explicit consent every time it happens. Model-assisted review is covered by the Terms you accept when you sign in, and the Windows app carries a switch that turns it off, so nothing you type leaves your device.

  • No portal filing

The product never files or submits anything to a portal, and never claims a professional opinion on its own. It downloads your own returns from the GST portal only when you ask it to.

  • See it, and erase it

The Windows app lists exactly what it holds on your PC and for how long, and you can request erasure of your account data.

  • Human review gates

Dates, amounts and conclusions stay unconfirmed until a person confirms them.

  • Your data stays yours

We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other websites.
